got 2 codes coming up on my 02 max one is p0455 and the other is p1448

it says one code is a evap large leak?? and the other is a vent something??


any ideas?/

 

Vent control valve and likely the evap canister; they are nearly impossible to separate without breaking the bolts.

 

anyone how wheres there located? how much to fix? and how hard it is? and what that effects?

This has been covered a few times, try the search...

Cliffs...behind the driver's side rear wheel...~$400 for all parts...easy...evaportive emissions system (can't pass an emissions test with the CEL).

 

I was one of the lucky few who, with patience, got mine apart without breaking anything.

I actually put an evap canister and solenoid on my 02 from an 01 (AE actually) and it fixed my CEL. The solenoid is slightly different, but it plugs in and it all works fine.
