Noise when Braking

It sounds identical to this. I am going to change pads today to see if it resolves the issue.
I have z32 brakes on her, and the noise is getting verrry annoying!!
please help with a diagnosis!!![Confused](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)

Perk, you sure it's the brakes, and not something else?
Does the sound increase when you drive faster? And does anything smell like it's burning?
I know I've heard this sound before. But I've never heard of a cause or cure.

replaced the pads today. no luck!!! I will recheck the bolts but they did seem fine.
As stated before: they make noise during braking but if i turn the wheel to the right it stops momentarily.

Take the rotor right off the hub and CLEAN that surface really well, including the inside of the brake rotor. (Drill with wire wheel or something like that)
I guarantee the noise will go away if you clean it well enough.
If you don't believe me, I've been through the same thing, on the same type of car (Maxima) and a good hub cleaning made the noise go away 100%.
Should only take you like half an hour to do it too.

Can you give me more info on what you cleaned exactly.......
I did it and the noise is still there.
I took off the brakes and used a brillo pad to clean the hub area that contacts the brakes............... (used brake cleaner to wipe all the grime off)

Took a high speed wire brush to the hub, and inside the brake rotor, and made sure the wheel was nice and tight. Sound was completely gone.
Have had this work on other brands of cars also!
