Drivers Side window problemo
So I have the typical window problem, where the window whats to do what it wants, even sometimes when it wants.
I put it down last week, and it decided not to come up. For 2 days it would not even show the slightest sign of life. I decided I'd try the reset, but the only problem with that is that it was already down. The OP write up says the window must be up first.
So I try and it doesn't work . I think to myself, I am angry so I'm gonna punch the damn window motor. I punch that little metal scrap in its face , and next thing I know.... vvvvvvffffffffffffffffump (thats the sound of a window going up).
So now its up, and I'm trying to decide if it's worth the risk of doing the window reset. Or is banging on a motor like that to get it to work signs of the actual motor being dead? I guess thats the real question out of all this nonsense
I guess I'll buy a new motor then try the reset. If it works then, yay! I saved money! If not then, well I guess I'm shoving my big hands up in that door for awhile.
sorry for getting carried away with emoticons.
