Nissan Rotors

This has to be the 3rd time that my front rotors have warped. I have gone to the Nissan service with the TSB and that worked for a little while. I personally think that the quality of the rotors are garbage. Has anyone upgraded their rotors to an aftermarket rotor that replaces the stock rotors and what is your opinion of the replacement. I really dont have the cash to replace the whole system but would like to get a rotor that doesnt warp after 3000 to 5000 miles.

How are the Stillen Crossed drilled? I heard that they weren't any good.

I don't know of too many people that have them, but the Stillen rotors are made by Brembo.

Thanks for your info UMD_MaxSE

Is there any other brands that other people know about or have comments on the Stillen Rotors

What happens if the Stillen rotors warp as well. Can cross drilled rotors get cut? Not sure who it was but I read a post not too long ago where someone had the same issue with the OEM rotors, upgraded to the Stillen big brake kit and wound up having warped rotors again. I'm just weary of spending all that money and still wind up having warped rotors. BTW, I've had my Nissan rotors cut 3 times as well. I 'm sick of it I tell ya

getting rotors cut more than twice is not good.... Even twice is probably pushing it. They should replace them after cutting them once already

True. I'll prolly just buy brand new OEM rotors from Tustin Nissan. I think I saw them quote new rotors for around $60.00. I can't afford an upgrade right now so I'll give it a shot. If these go bad as well then I'll know Nissan rotors just suck @ss. I drove my Impala rental for a month and drove it hard. Conclusion = Impala brakes are much better than Maxima brakes.
