Umm... the only serious answer I can give you is that on some Altimas I have seen there is a little black screw that is covered by a little black grommet thing where the TB is, and the grommet is like the cover that goes over the positive of the alternator bolt.
But some kid said he can rev a drive by wire, and pulled that grommet off and he revved the engine with a screw driver into that little black screw. But after he was done the car ran extremely rough, almost as if the timing got messed up somehow, there was a little popping at the exhaust a lot of engine shaking, and so he unhooked the battery and waited a few hours and then everything was good. And all this was on a 2005 Altima by the way.

Tie a string to your gas pedal, drill a hole through your firewall, and run the string into the engine compartment. When you wanna rev it and show people, just don't let them see the string
EDIT::: Oh, wow, someone already suggested this! Ahahahaha yes!

Hum, ok... Or may be it's because my engine made a distinct sound at 3500-4500 rpm, and I needed to know if its the engine or something just got loose. And if I told you that I found a way to do that, wouldn't you want to know how? I thought this was why the forum is here, to ask questions. And if you dont know the answer then dont reply. People just leaving stupid comments to get their post count up? Thats retarded... There should be a restriction 'read only rights for members with an IQ of a peanut'

Oh, and BTW, there is only one APPS in a maxima. Though I heard John Deere uses two, one for throttle and the other for steer by wire's precision steering

I was gonna say.
Don't mess with Nmex. He knows what he's talking about.
OP, the .org is a baptism by fire kind of forum. If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Sure it may be frustrating, but it happens. Be persistent and you'll get your answer. And you did, although it may not seem like it. Picking fights with OGs is just going to get you in trouble.

The reason there are 2 of each sensor is so there is reference point since the ECU makes sure they're in check. If there is a small voltage spike, the tolerance goes away, and BAM, fail safe mode.
I learned this the hard way when I was wiring my wideband to read throttle position, kept going into fail safe...

It was a legitimate question and it seems like drive by wire should have accommodated the need of people like me that need to diagnose a sound and people like ^*^*^ that want to show off that tight sound.
