Question About H&R Springs

So, I'm contemplating doing what Housecor did (shiftice.com) and just putting on some H&R springs with stock struts. So here's my question. If I choose to do this, and some time down the road my stock struts fail, will it damage my springs, or will I be able to replace the struts and keep my H&Rs? Thanks for any opinions/advice!

It won't ever damage your springs, bad struts will just put alot of pressure on your tires and on your brakes when braking over a bump or something of that nature.

Springs will definitely be fine, just replace the struts when the time comes.

I'm missing a half-liter but I've got a piggyback and 3" MAF that makes up for it

Oh and on topic, springs don't get damaged by blown struts. I've blown one coilover and replaced it while using the old spring with no repercussion and I blew my two rear struts (OEM) and just replaced them using the existing springs. Springs are tough.

if you have alot of mileage on the shox then def replace them because the job is a bitc* (especially the rears) and you are going to have to go through it all over again when the time comes that they need to be replaced... I have h&r's and I like em

H&R springs KYB shocks

Had them on car since new. First mod however had to put KYBs which helped with suspension. Got rid of the float when hitting bumps. The ride stiffened up far different than stock. 6 years still going strong. 187K
