rear breaks

I have a silly question. The rear breaks on our cars only get used when pulling the hand break right? or do they help when breaking all the time?

They help all the time Bias is a bit front favored but yeah.

Nah, the rear brakes and e-brake were optional on our car.

You could get the SE track pack with rear brake delete in 03. Weight reduction for better acceleration and brak...just better acceleration.

70/30 "Brake" Bias Ratio I believe. A front BBK will change this figure a good bit however.

Double LOL.

Haha, we have all asked silly questions before, guys and girls. I love silly questions though, it brings humor to my day!

But yeah, OP, read the posts about the brake bias. The rears get used, just not with the same force as the fronts.

Be sure to turn the piston counter clockwise. Or you can step on the brake pedal a few times while the caliper is removed. This may help!
