I just sold my 01 and bought an 02.The original owner had the headlights stolen years ago a few times so i think she put 01 headlights in, im not 100 percent what year the bumper is from but where the bumper meets the headlight the bumper goes drops down about 1/2 a inch. On an 01 i believe the bumper is straight and doesnt have the drop down?

The space is bothering me , debating if i gotta change the bumper or the lights or what?

You most likely have the 01 headlights on your 02 (since you said there's a gap). If you had an 00/01 bumper w/ 00/01 headlights there would be no gap.

You could get 02/03 headlights on your car which would fill the gap. Many folks (including us 00/01'ers) upgrade to the 02/03 headlights anyway so for you it makes perfect sense.

Otherwise...you could get an 00/01 bumper but...nah

i have same problem on my 03, i thought the bumper was to low or something was wrong with it,thanks now i know i have to get new lights too.

 

if you have to change something, change the headlights...02/03 HIDs are better...and you alreay have the better looking (02/03) bumper
