2002 Maxima SE 6sp 131K...help on purchasing

Fellas, im going to sell my 98 max and purchase a 02 Max SE, 6sp with 131K.
I have never owned a manual car before, but driven them 20 times in California.

How could I tell if the engine, tranny or clutch have problems?

What are the possible things I might need to do on this car?

Thanks guys!!!

is it private party or dealership?

Pay the money to a reputable 3rd party mechanic that does pre-purchase inspections and he will tell you what, if any thats needs to be done.

Most are generally under $100.00 for the inspection.

I should say some grind and some burn oil... I don't want to be blame later.

Just do a regular check up or bring someone that have knowledge about car to go check it out. Good luck.

Is $5,500 too much? What would be reasonable?
