Matching ecu numbers

Matching ecu numbers
I am looking for a good used ecu.Do I have to match the letters and number exactly? Mine has a big stamp of TN on it with a number of A56-P36 I have searched ebay and have only found 1 with TN and the number are close but not exact.
Have you tried www.car-part.com?
