WTF - eBay engine mount bolt hole too small?

So I went to install my new ebay engine mounts, and the front and rear wont bolt in. I have checked the alignment of the mount and the engine bracket, and its off by a little bit, but no matter what I cant get the bolt to go in, even with a deadblow hammer hitting a socket attached to the bolt-head. has anyone else experienced this?? it really should surprise me, as I had to grind away part of the hole on he crossmember in order to get the rear mount to even fit on it. i really didnt think to try the bolt in the hole before i mounted it up there. what should i do?

Leave mount to crossmember bolts loose and the crossmember to body bolts out. Then line up the mount bolt on both front and rear, then do the other bolts.

Turns out there was rubber in the bolt hole. Gotta love Chinese parts
