Hey gents, I'm curious how to remove those face vents on the sides closest to the front doors. Years ago at a junkers, I just pried them apart aggressively and got them out, but on my car, I want to be more gentle as I'm thinking of painting mine, and am thinking there might be a better way.

I hope they are not bolted from behind to the dashboard.
