doesnt look like a big deal to me...and not worth messing up the airbag to try and fix it

loooool I <3 my steering wheel cover, the previous owner wore the crap out of my steering wheel, it's always weird driving a car without a steering wheel cover for me.

I took 150 grit sandpaper and sanded to top and bottom section (not sides) of the steering wheel (taped the edges so I didn't sand the side sections by accident). Then took some aloe leather conditioner and rubbed it in. Looks like a Competition M3's steering wheel now and is real smooth.

I personally don't like an overly smooth steering wheel, I need something to really grip with

I have been wondering how to fix the gaps also. might try to straighten it, does anyone know if this is possible to do?
