My question . . . I am considering Cattman's complete system (CCES - G5BCA) @ 1125.00. If I install this - is the car still emissions legal? The car was originally built to CA specs . . . I do not live in CA, but the rules are wacky it seems.

 

Yes, I have the 02'-03' version and never had an emission problem. You will still have your cats.

 

Just order the CALI spec from Cattman

 

Had the car on a lift to inspect what's there now . . .

car recently had a Nissan stainless cat back exhaust installed by previous owner.

There is a very annoying rattle coming from a pre cat heat shield . . .

will the Cattman cali Y pipe hook up with the cat back nissan system?

I am thinking a Cattman Y pipe and the Nissan cat back are both stainless steel and should last, and that this install will be a good opportunity to get the rattle gone at the same time.

 

It will match up no problem and should post pics of the exhaust so people tell you what it is cause Nismo or Nissan don't make stainless!!
