I have a small coolant leak right next to the oil dipstick in the following image. It's right by where the two pipes meet (you can see bolts)



Now my dilemma is... should I just buy some JB cold weld and go at it, or replace the pipe altogether? I assume that pipe gets pretty hot at times, would JB weld withstand that?

The front water pipes are about $45 each at CourtesyParts.com.

knight_yyz and I were just talking about those pipes the other day, and he said something about there being an O-ring at the connection you're referring to. It's possible all you need to do is replace it.

I know he's replacing those rusty water pipes with newly painted ones, so maybe you can PM him and have him weigh into this thread?
