16" SE 4th gen wheel, How wide tire?

i currently got my hands on 4th gen 16" se rims like the one below i currently have on there 205/60/16, can i go wider? and if so what s good size to run

They came 215/55 from the factory, and I've seen people use 225. I personally wouldn't go wider than 225 (I can't remember if it was 50 or 55) on that. Might want to check the 4th gen forum.

Hey guys quick question. on my 02 GLE my friend is giving me his stock 04 350Z 18" wheels and tires, How good would that look on a white 02 GLE???

For what it's worth, your selection should be better, and therefor your price should be a little lower, on the more common 225/50/16 size tire. I know a few cars that run that size from the factory, 215/55's and 225/45's not so much. So unless you mind paying a little more for that tire size that you just have to have, consider the "theoretically more widely available" common size.

Just saying.....

Yea, go with stock that's a good size for that rim. All I've ever used.

i just did as well, after seeing this ima go with 225/50/16, i just saw them on another car and it looked good.

Yes, they fit on 5th gen's fine. I run them in the winter with no problems.

Good choice on going a little wider and cheaper can't beat that....
