ok so i was going to my wife's work and had to get on the pike. So i get my ticket and start to go thru the gears manually (autotrans), i get 1st to 4500 and then the car starts surging like i had a standard (the whole bucking and such when the rpms are low) but i was at 4500. So the car shifts to second and it does the same thing so i say leave it alone and drive normal. I get off the pike and get on the highway and as it goes from 2nd to 3rd and letting the auto shift it shifts at 3500-4000 and it shifts sounding like a standard would fi you were racing and rowing thru the gears. I was just letting it do its thing so this was kinda weird. Long story short just as i get to her work the car goes into limp mode and the a/t, slip and such light up. i cant rev past 1100 or so. So i get there go thru the ecu relearn, get a p1122 code but i clear it and viola all good. i drove home no problem but drove like and old lady, never getting anywhere near 50% throttle.
Couple things, i did the ssim and the TB fell from about 2 feet and Im not sure if that f'd anything up. Also i read a post by NMexMax that he had this but it didn't resurface till after he went past 50% throttle. so when i go to work tonight i have some good open roads and will see if it comes back. What have any of you done after getting this code?
