power loss

Hey everyone. I have an 02 6 speed. Im having a power loss issue. The car runs excellent when I first start it in the morning. But as the car warms up the power goes down. I just replaced and 02 sensor because the check engine light was on. I replaced all the spark plugs and 2 other 02 sensors last year for inspection. I also have a custom made warm air intake. Also, when the engine warms up, the car pings like crazy like i put cheap gas in. But i always run 92+ octane. Im thinking about replacing the MAF and knock sensors. Could either of these cause my problem? Thanks.

well since the car warms up and 'pings' the ecu will lower the timing making you loose alot of power because it is protecting the motor from detroying itself...so u shuld have a code for the pinging most likey and if its pinging with high octane gas u have a bigger problem

Could a bad MAF sensor be doing this? Maybe if its reading the wrong amount of air going into the engine and making it run lean?

I would clean with maf cleaner and see if it helps, I had a crack in the rubber piece that connects to the throttle and caused similar problems

Can you try putting the stock intake back on to see if it still pings?

sounds like knock sensor since it runs fine open loop (before engine warms up)

test it with the resistor
