Anyway to Disable Remote Front Window Roll-down

I just went out to my car in the middle of a left over hurricane downpour to find my front windows half open because something in my pocket hit the remote control door unlock while I was inside my house and rolled down the windows. This is the second time this has happened to me during a rainstorm.

Anyone know if there is a way to disable this function? I am (&^&&*%^$% p&ss*d off right now as the carpet and seats are soaked.

Needs to be hooked up to Nissans Consult II machine:

PW DOWN SET The unlock button’s pressing time on keyfob can be selected among the following periods:
I MODE 1 (3 sec.)/MODE 2 (OFF-Mode)/MODE 3 (5 sec.)

Probably cost you less than an hours labor there, but if you can slip the technician a $20, that might work.

That's your only option short of snipping wires.

VQPower, Thanks, I'm glad it is possible. I'll call the local stealership and find out how much they want to disable it.
At least in the 4th gen, they had the buttons recessed in the remote. Now the buttons are huge and stick out of the remote...

BTW, did you find this in the FSM? If so, what section??

EL-288 of the FSM. The mechanic will basically have to go through the different pages of his program until he gets to the PW DOWN SET monitoring page.
