Warpspeed Cat or Test Pipe???

Just going back and forth on this before I order this Warpspeed HFC on Monday and was wondering what would be better for setup. I currently have right now, shorty headers>y-pipe>Megan test pipe>Tsuedo cat-back(N1 style)>5.5 gen muffler.

I still have my stock cat and thought about putting that back on instead of getting the Warpspeed HFC, just looking for different opinions. I really want to get rid of all these o2 codes, that's the main reason for me to get rid of the test pipe.

What O2 codes do you have? I'm not sure if there is a sensor like there is on the 4th gen behind the main cat. If there is, then a cat will help.

I think your headers are probably the ones tripping your O2 codes.

If you go with a WSP HFC get the Metallic substrate......Mines been in service for 6-7 yrs (03 Nissan Maxima), plus it quieter than a test pipe!

Got a test pipe on mine and there was zero increase in noise over the stock cat.

World of difference in sound when you have headers though.

It's slightly louder but you're running the stock catback exhaust! So you don't really notice.....Man that OEM rear muffler can quiet anything down!

Not really. I had it and added a TP and . Needed to add a larger resonator and a completely new resonator to rid the rasp (2 big **** total).

I don't know about WS but I was told by Cattman that our stock cat actually flows better than the Random Technology "high flow" cat. So just be careful and do some research bc the HFC might be a downgrade from the stock one.
