I assume you mean it failed inspection?
If you did a few things to get checked would be MAF, knock sensor, all O2 sensors, and the run some premium in it. Seems to me (I'm def. not a expert on the numbers) but just some street smarts say you are running rich. CAT might be suspect as well.

How is it running? Have you noticed the funny sound on start-up, like its misfiring? If the codes haven't came back after you cleared them, and now your having trouble it could be intermident. Sometimes failing the inspection, also shows stored codes from past. Well at least here in Texas, they can tell if you reset it prior to coming in for so many drive cycles before every sensor checks in to the ECU. I wish you could provide some more info...

OK After 500~ KM, SES is now back, I need to go scan it.
I'm not exactly sure how a misfire sounds, I've had it choke on very cold starts, (when id give her gas, it would at first feel like i didnt press the pedal down, and then suddenly jolt into gear), but is rare.
I dont believe Ontario tests do any sort of indepth failed code ECU kinda thing.
