Looks like something is up with o2simulator.com. Where else can someone get O2 Sims?

I got a P0430 and just hollowed out the precat. I actually have a precat on order but was gonna try the hollowed out option and O2 sim first. The secondary O2 has been removed. Non-foulers have been known not to work with our vehicles, so I'm not going that route.

Hell, most mods done to a car are illegal but the parts are available.

That O2Simulator.com site was working last week, i should have gotten it then.

Really? I've heard of Sentras getting away with anti-foulers. Maybe our O2 sensors are pickier...

Make your own, I guess. I'm sure there's a howto somewhere. It's just a series of resistors in a circuit that's designed to simulate the voltage the O2 heaters would send back under normal operating conditions.

I don't need to be preached at, and I don't give a flying F if they are illegal. We don't even have state inspections here, so I could careless.

Oh, smoking your side markers are illegal, in all 50 states...

Who's preaching? You asked and I told you the answer. Why not call Brian Catts. He sells headers. I'm sure he'll tell you the same thing. They are illegal because they eliminate the SES light.

and the post above this is not a link to an o2 simulator. A simulator is an electronic device.

and he probably needs a dual output simulator

And why are they using a russian server for the website?

An o2 simulator may be illegal, but a "signal generator" isn't

Don't know if it will fit, but it looks like it would work and is cheap:

Well, I decided just to put in the new pre-cat (Eastman) and a new Boscht O2.

Also note, Eastman says to ( grind down the 4 raised tabs on the OEM manifold>precat seal and it will be fine. This is untrue. I grinded off the tabs to make the seal flat but there was still at least a 1-2mm gap between the precat flange and manifold. Also, Eastman's welders decided to weld right up to the bolt hole so it was near impossible for one of the bolts to go down flush...had to grind that off too.

I decided not to use a seal at all and the two flanges were again flush, with no visible signs of a leak, we'll see.

I also broke one of the flange bolts off inside the manifold flange when I was removing the old precat. What a biatch! I didn't even have enough room to get a drill up there and drill and tap so I didn't even reuse that hole.

I will just have to get some Cattman headers/Y pipe if I have any more problems...
