Cornering lights?
Cornering lights?
So I accidentally ran over a 6" stake that was sticking out of the ground. Upon reversing, it ripped the front corner of my bumper skin off. There is a white plastic retainer that got pulled out and deformed, and it was no longer seated on the mouting bolt. I also noticed the wires going to the orange "bullet" light on the front corner of the bumper were pulled out. I got the bumper pushed back on so it looks fine, but now I am wondering about the light. When should this light be on? Also, the clear light above my turn signals in the headlights doesn't go on. When should this one go on, and are they on the same circuit?
Those are part of your parking light assembly, they will all come on (4 corners and amber lights up front) when either your parking lights or headlights are on. Your wires probably got torn in the mishap. Also check your fuses
Yes they are related to fog lights in that they both emit light when their given electrical circuit is completed. No I do not think that they are located on the same fuse. I suggest going into your fusebox below your steering wheel and pulling every fuse one at a time and check them. If no culprit there, then check fuses/relays under the hood. Do a search on the org on a topic of fuses for each of those lights
