3000k fog users...

I have a question for you.

I bought 2 different sets of 3000k h3 kits for my 03 maxima. I have moved the reflector so its not touching the bulb or metal for the bulbs. Both kits for some reason when i use them even after 15 minutes of driving stay greenish color. I have heard that it is common for this to happen, and to get rid of the green, just use the fogs as much as possible to kind of break the bulbs in and they will turn green.

Is this true, or am i misreading things.

It is annoying the crap out of me that they are green, all i want is just a nice crisp yellow.

Or do I need to get to installing my lexus capsules

Thanks

Jay

It took a while for mine to get to a nice, yellow color. When I first installed them, they were sort of a whitish-yellow color.

After about 15-20 hours of use, they started to shift to a deeper, more yellow color. Mine turn green when I first turn them on, but they turn to yellow within about 10 seconds.

Gizm0 and J23, where did you guys purchase your kits from? I have over 15 hours of usage on mine and they're still greenish (lime-green, according to my gf) in color.

The bulb itself won't be too yellow when you look at it from close. The yellow really mostly reflects on the floor. I am getting my Lexus Capsules on tomorrow thanks to 03VIPMAX
