It would be better if it didn't look hideous.

the owner has been given a lot of $hit for how his car looks, but whatever, its his car and if he wants to make it look like that, thats his business.

Hopefully this isnt going to turn into a bashing thread... He has power to backup his choice of "show" parts.

Is dyno testing without your front end normal? Is it a representative test? Hmm....

+1 on the nice grand am comment...to each their own.

The power that car has is mind-blowing, there's no question. I have a lot of respect for the performance work done to it. I'm just not a fan of the looks, that's all. If someone was ragging on the guy for how it looks, he can just defer to the numbers it has and shut them up easily.

If it were me, I wouldn't give people reason to rag on the looks in the first place by modding it more conservatively on the visual side of things. That's me though, not him.

I agree with you, HotShot. His car, his money, if he likes it that's all that matters. Again, you can't knock the performance. Those are some mind-blowing numbers.

I see SecondToNone's 5.5 gen as the perfect blend of very nicely-done performance and visual modifications. Such a shame that it blew up on him.

so many haters everyone has their own preferences the fact that he has chosen to have his own look i give him much respect and thats what makes his car unique and the hood scoops obv provide useful for the boost.

I don't think it's haters as much as the look of the car is not generally accepted as attractive. But huge respect for the investment in HP.

Speaking of which, if you have $5500 just in the turbo kit + all the other stuff, you still have a sleeper Maxima. I suppose I'd do that if I got the car free, but having 20K invested in a Japanese sedan is a bit over the top, that's why it has gotten so many views.

I'd drive it, and I don't think it looks hideous as some of you have said. But then I would'nt exactly spend thousands of dollars on a turbo for a fwd vehicle.

They do that because the bumper comes off for the intercooler install. And it's easier and safer to strap it down that way.

Wow so many jealous haters

He built the car the way he wanted it. I am sure he would not come on here and bash everyone for the way their car looked..

I'm not hating...to each their own. I just like the idea of my Maxima being a sleeper. Not that mine exactly is, now that I have it lowered with rims and a front lip.

But subtle visual mods > full-blown overhaul on the exterior. Just IMO.

I love when that turbo spools up
Call him rice all day but he would still smoke the f*ck out of most everyone here.
If thats his style and thats how he prefers it, so be it, let it be.

The guy can make the car look how ever he wants. It has 400 horsepower...

People probably sleep on that car all the time; thinking it's some riced out Maxima, until they hear the spool...
