Sincity Max is for sale
Well. Time has come for me to move on to different things. After many years of enjoyment modding the Maxima, I want to try new things. Frankly, I just don't get the excitement I once did. I am sure some of you have been there with other vehicles and can see where I'm coming from.
I am not sure what my future plans are. Definitely a RWD or AWD vehicle. I wish I could afford a GTR, but that is way out of my league right now. As far as the Maxima is concerned, I am putting her up for sale as is. I consider her a work of art and hopefully will find someone out there who appreciates all the hard work I've put into it. Hopefully I will find someone who appreciates it for what it is and will enjoy it as much as I did. If I can't, then watch out for the biggest part out in Maxima.org history.

I wish I had more money to play with it'd be a fun road trip to drive back from NV to NY in a boosted Max. Dibs on the newly powdercoated track editions! Lol. :P

Yeah, how much?
This seems completely out of the blue! You seemed so happy doing things to your engine bay, etc... I guess once you're boosted, no other mods can give you the same excitement...
Just out of curiosity, did you ever test your 1/4 mile times?

im sure it will sell real fast with the abundance of details you posted on it!
usually when people want to sell their car they make an ad not just say they want to sell it.
either way... much love for your boosted VQ! good luck

Damn man. Thats kind of sad in a way, your car really is one of the most maximum tuned maxima's on this site...Likely anywhere in the world.
Send me a PM with your asking price and or a price for your turbo kit should you decide to part it out.
All the best in the future, in a way I can relate about your desire for RWD or AWD, a much better use of 400+ hp.

while he can ask for whatever he wants, id imagine he wants somewhere in the 15K range. sadly, as nice a car as it is, he is going to have to part it out completely and try to get back some of his money. IIRC the turbokit alone was 5K or better..

Your car was the first one I ever saw pop up for MOTM since I started getting on here this time last year, definitely well respected and one of the most badass rides on here.

P/M sent. Oh BTW 1/4 mile times in the mid 12s
That's what my wife said too. This was a decision that even surprised me. But man, my heart just isn't into it anymore. You guys have to know where I'm coming from.
Probably 240 w/ SR20.

Yup, out of the blue. But I see where your coming from. Sometimes you get tired of a certain project and wanna get something new. I always get the craving to part mine out and start on a different platform. But then I think, how many people in the world have a modded A33 i30, much more, one that looks like mine. And nothing else that I would consider getting is unique enough for me to feel proud to own it.
Why dont you put a VQ in the 240 and boost that. SR swaps into 240s were played out in 2004 IMO.

I've got a non HLSD tranny if you're interested.
I thought about the 3.5 swap into it, but from a financial and more durable perspective, the SR20 makes a lot more sense. Yes, they were overboard in the early 2000s, but that was last decade and we are now in 2012 (almost). Plus the SR20 (black top) is the best all-purpose motor for the 240. I am looking at it from a practical perspective and not from what everyone else and their mothers are doing or did in the past. Can you see where I am coming from?

I know how you feel that's the same way i felt when i did the final steep on turbo chargering the 4th gen with the 3.5 hybrid mevi jwt camed and every thing (haven't got it in me to sell it yet) but then i got the 5.5 gen and it's kind of like i'm doing the same thing over almost
NEXT CAR THIS SUMMER MORE IN THE LINE OF MY DAD'S 1993 RX-7 turbo . he will be trading me for my turbo 4th gen
If you want to get in to some thing different i would stay away from any thing VQ or FWD.
I have a very little regret in hopping in to a 5.5

I had one, they break easy & parts are expensive once you throw power into them.
My brother has a SR20DET '92 putting down 380 RWHP, looks amazing, tons of fun, fast, but breaks sh't pretty constant. He has over $55,000 in that car over the course of 3 years.
My 2 Cents Hope whoever gets the car takes care of it man, she's a beauty to say the least, you've put a lot of love into it.

Just a head's up, I know you know the cost of playing, but 240's are EXPENSIVE.

Definitely one of the finer looking 5th gens, not to mention one hell of an attractive sig. shot ... you have no doubt inspired several members, and yes I do understand that feeling when things call out for a change and it sounds like you have the makings of a vision already.
Should you decide to dress her down a bit, I would be interested should you decide to part out the stillen lip and if you have the rear valiance as you have them already in my paint color ... all the best in which ever direction you go.

Nope it's Sterling Mist KT3
Now that is one sweet looking ride ... unspoiled and right hand drive still, I have been seeing a few of these Skylines showing up around town here in Ontario ... mind you the ones I have seen here are by no means in the kind of shape that one is ... very sexy

I like them. Not a fan of the fact that they are coupes, but the front ends look unbelievable.
Almost tempted to get a S13 and put a Silvia front end on it. Hmmm...Here we go again...

Sad to see it go. You spent a lot of time, hard earned money and effort on that Maxima, but I totally understand the concept of moving onto something else. It seems to be hitting a lot of owners lately.
Regardless, hope it finds a good home and you get something more exciting for yourself.
