Bushing questions
I've been reading various suspension threads and have decided on my components (H&R springs + Tokico Illuminas) but now I'm wondering about the bushings. I assume ES is the only worthwhile option, but which bushings do I want? They have a ton on their site but I'm not sure which ones to get of if there's a better place to buy from.
Thanks in advance

For the front:
Get the control arm kit (1 kit includes both sides)
Sway bar bushings kit (if you drive a SE model, use the 23mm ones)
For the rear:
I would say it is not a must. I have not changed them yet.

If you are going to work in this area of the car, I recommend you change all of the steering component as well. And please use Moog!
Inner Tie Rod (OEM nissan)
Outter Tie rods Moog
Ball Joint Moog
Sway bar Link Kit Moog
Front and rear shock top plate Moog
Shock dust boot Moog
As for your question regarding the two sets of motor mounts, one is in fact the bushings for the cross member (22,99$) and the other one is the motor mount inserts set (83.17$) The "2 torque mount position only" refers to the fact that this kit contains only the "roll" mounts. the one near the timing cover and the one on the tranny are not included and ES does not make them by the way.
If you are driving a SE model you need the ES 23mm sway bar bushings

You may look at this thread I made about my suspension rebuild and more.

It's on my list for Spring 2011... along with an OEM replacement of the Transmission-side Motor Mount.

If I'm following you correctly then it may be wise to buy just about everything on the page I linked (23mm sway bar bushings instead of 22mm though).
Edit: if I replace everything listed on that page, some of the items look like single parts and others look like kits. How many of each item would I want to buy? Also, I see a "strut mount" listed as well as an "upper strut mount kit". Do I need both of these? Do I need multiples? Are the Moog "front sway bar frame bushings" the same component as ES's front sway bar bushings? (if so I'd get the ES ones)
I know I need the following, could someone help me fill in the rest?
1x motor subframe bushings
1x torque mounts
1x front control arm bushings
1x rear trailing arm bushings
1x front sway bar bushings (23mm)
Thanks for everyone's help so far
2nd edit: if I buy the LCA kit from FCP I assume I can eliminate the control arm bushings from ES, is this correct?

ok, I think I've got the list sorted out, how does this look for everything?
1x motor subframe bushings $22.99
1x torque mounts $83.17
FCP LCA kit $140
1x rear trailing arm bushings $65.84
1x front sway bar bushings (23mm) $19.99
vibrant FSTB $55
H&R springs $231
Tokico Illumina struts $439
Looks like the FCP kit contains LCAs, ball joints, tie rod ends, and sway bar end links. Is there anything else I'd need to purchase?

You could consider replacing your passenger-side and transmission-side engine mounts. Those two would be OEM replacements, where the mount hardware come with OEM bushings already pressed in. I think they're about $100 each, last time I looked.

ES only makes Torque Mount bushings for the manual-transmission Maxima. The auto-transmission Maxima has larger diameter mounts with electronically controlled, fluid-filled bushings.
That leaves you with 2 options. 1) Buy the MT mount and swap. 2) Customize an inner-diameter collar for your AT mount.
Um, Options #2 is really hard to do.

Oh, and while I'm thinking about it, only my front mount was electronic, the rear was regular ole everyday rubber.
I don't wanna pester the guys making my mounts for me, considering they're freebies, and the holidays just passed, so I don't have any "developments" news to relay, but I sure will as soon as I have something.
Based on my conversations and findings so far, I don't think the side mounts would be any real challenge either, but as I said before, I wanna product in my hand, and some idea on price, before branching out.

Well, "hard to do" from my point of view. There's only so much I can accomplish with a cordless screwdriver and a $15 ratchet set.
Ghost_54 had his AT mounts customized by knight_yyz. Seems like a huge project to me, but knight_yyz is a Toolie (tool & die).

What, this list?
Hmm... along with those new Illumina's, you should be replacing your front strut mounts. MOOG Mounts are like $100 for the pair. Rear mount plates are OEM, and probably just fine. Very few people need to replace the rear mounts, it seems. (Mine were fine.)
Also... new dust boots.
Consider buying into the Subframe Collars sold here on the Org by carnal_30. Very nice little mod.
I don't see a Rear Sway Bar in your list. Guessing you have one already, then.
Last, if you're paying a mechanic for all this work, be sure he's OK with the effort to rip out and press new bushings in the Torque Mounts, LCA's and RCA. These can all be very difficult and time-consuming. If your mechanic charges by the hour but can't commit to an estimate, you could find yourself on the receiving end of a huge bill.

I don't have a rear sway bar on the list, I thought the SE's had one stock?
Thanks again

Thanks for the advice. I'll add front strut mounts to the list also. Looking at the Moog strut mounts on ES's website, they list two strut mount parts. One is just listed as "strut mount" and the other is "front upper strut mount kit". Which of these do I want, and I assume I'd need to buy two? Also I see a "front strut bellow/bumper kit", is that something I need as well?
Go look under your car. If you have one, then someone put it there because Nissan didn't. Call Brian Catts at Cattman Performance and see if he has the Progress RSB in stock. It's like $150+ or thereabouts.
