Fog Lights. Help

Ok I installed new yellow fog bulbs the other day. For a little over a week they worked great. Turned on and off, on command untill recently. Other other day i noticed that my fog lights did not turn on right away, took about 5 minutes of playing with the switch for them to turn on. And now only the left one turns on. I took apart the right fog housing, tried to tighten the connections, and even put the stock bulb back on, and still nothing. This is extremely annoying! Eventually i gave up because i could not fix it and the fact that it was 30 degrees did not help. Please any suggestions would be appreciated.

check fuses and relays. if good, gram a multimeter and start at the light and work your way back till you get power

The plastic connector where the Bulb Light mates to the wire harness on the car: This could be corroded and making poor contact. This is the one that's attached to the inner splash guard up under the wheel well(s).

Suggest you double check these connectors on both sides, and use some dielectric grease in both.

Sounds more like you have a bad ground or connection tho - if BOTH lights are not coming-on.
I'd suspect the switch itself.

And not to be a self-aggrandizing a-hole....but I DO have a BRAND NEW spare Turn Signal Stalk / Fog Switch, that I'd be happy to sell you.

This is also excellent advice: start with the easiest, most obvious fault areas FIRST, and then start looking for other weak points....like loose connectors.

Or the ground wire @ the lamp itself is loose!
