CLARIFICATION ON THE MEANING OF HESITATING,BOGGING AND MISSING.

SO I REALLY THINK WE NEED TO CLARIFY THE DIFFERENT SYMPTOMS FOR HESITATING, BOGGING AND MISSFIRE, HERE IS MINE

HESITATION---- IS WHEN THERE IS PRESSURE APPLIED TO THE THROTTLE AND THERE IS A DELAY IN RESPONSE......

BOGGING--- IS WHEN TH VEHICLE AT STEADY RPMS OR AT INCREASING THROTTLE, THE RPMS DROP AND THERE IS A POWER LOSS.....

MISSFIRE---- IS WHEN THE VEHICLE HAS A NOTICEABLE QUICK DEAD SPOT AT A CONTINUOS RATE REGARDLESS OF THROTTLE POSITION OR RPMS, WHICH IS ALSO NOTICEABLE BY PLACING YOUR HAND ON THE ENGINE WHILE PLAYING WITH THE THROTTLE, OR CLIMBING STEEP HILLS (CLIMBING STEEP HILLS OR HARD ACCELERATION THE DEAD SPOTS ARE FAR MORE NOTICABLE)

IS THIS AN ACCURATE ANALISIS, I KNOW MY SPELLING IS BAD DONT RUB IT IN! LOL HAHAHA.

billy maze is dead, he was my idol, making all that money off cheap ****e! jk

how much more specific could you get hahaha

hesitation- i press the gas peddle and i go nowhere for a few seconds..... like the cable is temporarly disconected from the throttle , the car is running but when i press the gas peddle nothing happens....

bogging -im driving and the rpms suddenly drop to where ever depending on how bad the bog is and i have a total loss in power ( like im driving in 2nd gear in a standard car and all of the sudden its like its thrown into 5th gear for a few seconds and then back to 2nd.

missfire- its like i was driving in my car and i turned it of and back on really fast repeativly

im sure you get the idea lol, i see lots of people when searching around using the wrong words for their symptoms which leaves them with improper answers i thought this would be a good way of explaining the differences, im sure someone else will chime in and explain it better i just wanted to get it started.

Whoah whoah, I'm not razzin' you getflushed. I was referring to the guy who has a fondness for starting 'analytical' (and debatably pointless) threads.

haha yeha dude. not attacking you. i also find it annoying when people use hesitation, bogging, and misfire interchangeably. i think your def's are spot on. mr clearwater was just thirsty for knowledge but kept on making "more analytical" threads
