Noise coming from front left wheel

Hey guys, when I'm driving and turning left on my 02, I hear a very loud wabble/humming sound coming from the front left wheel...the tires are new so what do u think this is?...bearing?

When you hear this are you driving at parking lot speed or more than 25 mph?
Before you mess with wheel bearings, it could just be surface rust on the rotor if it is most noticeable first thing in the AM. If it sounds like a clicking while slow speed turning, it is most likely CV joints.

Front bearing replacement requires access to a hydraulic press, but you can do most of it yourself. But I would investigate other stuff before I went after the bearings.

its not clicking at all...it makes the sound at speeds above 10-15 mph..my rotors are pretty clean...could it be an axle?..its def coming from the front left wheel and dosent make the sound when im turning right, its loudest when turning left and theres a slight sound when driving straight

Got the same problem if I wash my wheels and rinse them it goes away for a day then comes back like something rubbing on the rotor, for me I think its my brake hardware but haven't fixed yet but soon....Good Luck with yours...

Another possibility... the dust shield on the brakes. There was a point once where the scraping noise was driving me nuts, until I bent the dust shield back and away from the rotor.

But it's probably your wheel bearing.

The easiest way to tell if it's a bearing is to jack the noisy side of the car up and wiggle the suspect wheel back and forth.

If there's any play/movement in the wheel, the bearing is on its last legs.
