I Want Projectors
I want projector headlights in my 02 max but after searching it seems there is only ebay headlights and the projector light output is horrible so if anybody can give me some insight to if its worth it first off and second where I can get some clear housing projectors that are of good quality

Yeah, true.
I mean, I guess you could shop around junk yards and see if you could find one that doesn't know how much the headlights are worth and will sell them to you for $100 a pair or something. That's the best you can do.

All Maximas, as far as I know came with HID xenon kits.
The only difference between our HIDs and projector HIDs is the lens.
Although both are HIDs, our cars have a cutoff like this:
While a projector retrofit will give you:
Basically, projectors prevent your light pattern from scattering as much as our OEM composites allow. It doesn't actually make the HIDs brighter, but creates a more solid light pattern, which makes for better road illumination.

What? The whole point of projectors is to cover the road from the ground in front of the car up, just like normal headlights. Projectors just provide a clean cut-off line, whereas composites are scattered and sort of "fade out."
Here's a better example:
Yeah, but again, there's the gapping issue with the 5th/5.5 gen headlight size differences.

My buddy had a setup similar to Feldman on his Civic.
Bixenon projectors AND projector high beams (only difference) so that he'd have quad highs. Any time he'd flash his highs at oncoming traffic, their cars would instantly disintegrate.

Do you have a picture of his setup on the civic? I'd love to see it

Ever wonder why they're flashing you? You are apparently using HIDs in stock 5th gen housings and if that's the case, they were blinded already without you hitting the brights... There are a couple of local maxima guys who do the same, and they are blinding oncoming, moreso than any other headlight setup I see out on the road except the guys who do the same thing in taller vehicles (SUVs/trucks).

The ebayisms may be smaller than the 5.5 lights, but they're definitely larger than the 00-01 lights (the non-projector version at least). I've seen the non-projector ebay fill up a 5.5gen bumper nicely (I'm still debating on whether to do the 5.5 bumper conversion).
OP: there's been quite a few successful ebay retros (if that's the light you're going for)
Feldman you have anymore output pics?

No, just the originals I took. I can take some more but not tonight because its snowing sideways
The Bi-xenons are good and have a nice even light spread. The Ebay reflector highs are sharp and focused they get a lot of light a long way down the road kind of like a flashlight

I've thought about the ebay projectors retro'd with TFS FX-R projectors. I used those in the retros I did on my wife's car + DDM Tuning 55w kit. Needless to say they make the maxima look like the lights are off. Nobody passes me on the freeway at night because they can see! I'd do the retro in my stock lamps...but cutting up the reflector is holding me back since replacements aren't cheap. With the sentra I bought new headlamps for cheap.
Anyway, here is my handy work:
