Automatic owners... Follow up on slipping tranny..

This is for those of you that aren't sure if your tranny is slipping or not.. I was uncertain too until I recently upgraded to Don's VB...
2-3 and 3-4 shifts certainly felt different but 1-2 was still laggy, shifting at 4000rpm or higher during mid-throttle.. It was raining on the day that I installed it so I thought it was normal.. I tested it out in dry weather the next day and it was still the same. So I took it to the dealer this morning to have it checked out. When I explained to them my situation, they told me that it's definitely a slip...
Normal shifts should be at 2000rpm or lower during light throttle and around 3000rpms at mid throttle... I'm currently having my solenoids and TCM replaced.. I just hope they don't replace my VB as well...
I'm disappointed with the fact that I was driving around all this time with a defective tranny..
I know I'm not the only one with this problem b/c I've rode other maximas that had the same problem.. If you think your rpms climb to high b4 shifting, don't hesitate to get it serviced..

I am getting my solenoid replaced in a week. Let's hope that solves the problem, if not I hope they replace the TCM.
