Removing Throttle body, will the gasket tear?

I'm about to clean the throttle body and I'm worried that the gasket will tear, would it tear?

Regardless I would replace it. Doesn't cost that much. It shouldn't tear, but doesn't hurt to put a new one in since the old one has been heated and cooled a million times.

It didn't on mine when I pulled everything apart at 120,000 miles. As for cleaning you should be able to get away with just using some SeaFoam Deep Creep to get the carbon out of there without pulling everything apart.
