I went to Midas today for an oil change/etc. and about halfway through the guy asked me to come into the shop so he could show me a problem with my frontal flex pipe. It was really loose and he said would need replacement soon, so I wondered what the options were besides replacing it with an OEM flex pipe (aftermarket exhaust add on or anything). The rear flex pipe was welded last year when it went out, but I know that can't be done because of the engine torque. It's a 2002 SE Automatic with around 71k.

Did they say how much they would charge for it?

If it's costly, you may just want to change to a Cattman or Warpspeed Y pipe.
