5spd Fluid Change interval?
Guys, what do you recommend on when to change the fluid of the 5spd tranny? I changed it at 2k with Redline MT-90. Car now has 13k, but it seems to be getting harder to shift again. So I am not sure what the deal is. I heard rumors that Redline isn't very good, like it use ot be and could actually damage the tranny. Ideas?

Redline is the best stuff available. The next best thing I've heard of is Royal Purple.
You should get AT LEAST 30K miles out of stock MT fluid, so I wouldn't change the Redline till at least then. I was told the reason you change the MT fluid is because there is no filter, but that the fluid will last a LONG time before it breaks down.
I would change it whenever the Owners' Manual recommends even though you use Redline.
