which roof rack do you guys use to transport skis on your maximas? any specific models from yakima, thule, etc? anything to look for?

I use a thule that I bought from the Nissan dealership when I was living in Germany a few years back. It can also be used to carry bikes, and snowboards too, thats why I like it although they are pretty expensive if you get it new. You can check ebay or craigslist and you might find one a little cheaper. Also a good thing to know is that the 4th gen thule's will also work on the 5th gen Maxima's too.
