Just got back from the service dept.

Just came back from Len Stoler Nissan in Owings Mills,MD. My window has so many scratches, that no repair kit will fix it. An estimate to replace the window is $600

Finally, I had a mechanic to test-drive my car while I was in it re: car jerking and clutch moaning issues. BTW he couldnt launch without making the car jerk either, he's a worse driver than I am. Clutch mooing sound is made by clutch slippage, and the jerking is explained by a "very powerful car". Nissan's clutch is hydralic unlike Honduhs thats why there's so much pedal play.

stopped by the sales floor, a pushy salesman tried to sell me a 2k2, giving me $12-13K for my old car (2k GXe 5 spd 20K mi). I sent brotha to hell.

I've never dealt with that dealer, but it sounds pretty crappy.... did you try the one in Security Blvd or the one on Rt 40?

Try Tischer Nissan in Laurel. They've always treated me well

Good luck

I had my windshield replaced as well. I had two chips, one the size of a dime and the other the size of a softball. No joke, this thing was huge! I did call Nissan who quoted me approx $600.00. Then I called this mobile windshield company who replaced the windshield in the parking lot where I work for $290.00. There is only 1 type of windshield that companys use for the Max. I know this after calling up to 10 different places for the best price. Use the yellow pages, it'll save you some cash.

oh no...Len Stoler on Reisterstown Rd in Owings Mills...Security Nissan is near ghetto, I wouldn't leave my car there overnight. And guys, dealer is right. There're scrapes all over the inside my rear window...I took the tint off 2 times, used the razor blade, and that did it. No defroster.

You have to pay for your windshields up there? Here in FL, if you even have a crack, you get your windshield replaced by your insurance for free, with no deductible, and most of the glass companies will come to you and do it...
