I am sick of RICE!

I am on a freeway overpass in the left hand turn lane at a red light waiting to get on the on ramp to the freeway. A riced out CRX pulls up next to me (two left turn lanes which eventually merge into one lane). My wife and I are waiting for the light, he revs and starts to roll forward as to get the jump on me and get in front of me before the lane merges into one. I say F@#K THAT! TCS off, 1st selected, power brake. He is reving the **** out of his POS! Light goes green and we take off (he started out in front of me cause he had been waiting for the light and coasting when it was red). A little wheel spin and I pull the **** out of him aroung the corner. I am watching the tach closely cause I am manually shifting the auto. I hear him hit second then I shift to second at 6200rpm (woops too late I hit limiter then bam, the car shifts to second) and pull a good car on him. He is still trying, the coffee can now glowing red on the rear of his car. I get into the merge well ahead of him, shift to third and take it to about 100mph and his blue headlights are gone.

Funny thing, he had every aftermarket go fast sticker on his car he could find and still the 125 added horsepower in stickers didn't help much.

One more for the MAX!

My favorite is for when they have stickers for mods that are not even on the car.

But, yeah, that Civic rice is getting a bit bland.

I think it'd be fun to slap an extra sticker on one and see how long it takes them to notice. Maybe Calvin peeing on la migra or something. Or hell just add Calvin peeing on one of the mods and see how long it takes em to notice. (nothing goo-gone couldn't take care of). Sort of like my Grandpa sneakily putting rush is right on his next door neighbor's car.

I've seen some interesting stuff that Calvin pees on. The best so far is La Migra.

She loved it, she always says "take this guy". After we ran him she pet the car and said "Good car.....Nice car" as if to reward it for the performance.

Re: I am sick of RICE!

He probably went home crying and added a few more stickers for some needed extra HP.

At a certain point, doesn't the weight of all of those stickers slow those cars down. There's also parasitic drag...

you need to explain to her, it was the driver and not the car ...

then maybe some might come your way ...

Man- I just have to get a pic posted of this late 80's-early 90's Buick Century I saw near my in-laws house. It has the rice wing on the trunk lid and looks particularly bad now that he has his skinny snow tires and black steel wheels on for the winter. Luckily, he hasn't lowered the thing so that it has about 0.5mm of suspension travel....yet. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the body is a little beat up with rust spots and some moderate dents all over. The owner probably should have forgone the wing and spent the money on getting the body work done first, but you know, ya gotta' have that downforce on the backend to keep it planted to the ground when you're going 30mph in the city! On the positive side- the paint job on the wing looks to be well done....
