new wheel and tire setup for 2011

so after selling my corvette sawblades that were on the car for a month i had do step it up a little, privat legende's 18x8.5 et40 and 18x9.5 et25 with 215/40/18 front and 225/40/18 rear. as the car sits in the pictures it is halfway completed with fresh paint and wheels, my parts pile and lists of to do's is growing by the day. she will sit a little lower front and back also when the good weather arrives and i feel like driving it.

let me know what you guys think! thanks

Classic wheel design, Excellent choice. Not a fan of the stretched tire, but the wheels themselves are beautiful.

Thanks guys, the stretch is the only way those wheels will ever work at my height. The fenders are rolled and they make clearance and rubbing not an issue. Pluss they kind of flow with the stanced look. I was going for

The vette rims were unique on the Maxima, yet I prefer the two-tone, 5-spoke design of your new rims. There's something very appealing about dark spokes with a polished rim.

I really don't care for faux rivets... too much bling. And the stretched tire thing looks absolutely ridiculous.

Good + Bad, I suppose. But +1 for effort.

Too each his own, the tires are strictly for fitment and stance, there is now way I could runa tire any bigget than a 225 its just imposable without shreding the tires, and the wheels were also avalable in 3 piece except they were $1500 more than what I paid so the rivets are there so it matches the 3 piece wheels.
