Jesus, that is alot of work. You did an amazing job man, this mod requires alot of patience.

Seems like it might be easier just to buy a 5.5 gen bumper that comes with the grill I suppose then you are limited for Lip Options.

^Yes, most guys opt for the 5.5 front end swap.

You cant just slap a 5.5 bumper on without headlights though or you'll have a decent gap between the headlight and bumper. So that becomes a pretty large investment (headlights, grill, bumper + paint and wiring)

In my case I had the Stillen front lip, and Pearl white (most expensive to paint and hardest to match).

this.. i bought the grille for only 60 bucks on here so with a little time and labor i potentially saved myself ALOT of money.. granted that it won't look as nice as an OEM grille and bumper but hey, it'll suffice for the time being.. i mean if i had the money i'd do it because i kinda like the stillen lip for the 5.5 bumpers, but then again i do love my AE lip too

It can look as good as OEM. And the AE front end is the best looking of the 5th gen, IMO. You need to fix that grill

I'm dying to do this mod, whenever I have patience and time to order everything.... By any chance do any of you guys know how to delete the own hamburger and replace it with the strip that continues the grill?
