what struts for H & R springs?

I looked over the spring/strut sticky, but still can't decide. My two choices I'm considering are kyb or tblues. Are they any difference in ride comfort and ride height/stance between the two?I know that the spring determine most of what the height will be? What other struts should I consider? By the way I already have the springs.

I run H&R with KYB struts and the ride feels better than stock. KYB has a lifetime warranty also.

What KYB's? GR-2's or AGX's (do they even sell those anymore ) GR-2's are stock replacements, and AGX's are/used to be adjustable and basically the KYG version of Tokico Illuminas.

I would go w/ Illuminas.

I used the GR-2's but H&R is a mild drop and the warranty is good for up to 1.5" drop

I have the Blues on my H&Rs and am very happy, but if I could do it again, I would get the Illumina's just so I can make adjustments when I want.

I have GR-2's along with H&R springs. I don't particularly like the ride quality, particularly in the winter, it's pretty harsh at times. I just purchased Illuminas, hopefully the adjustability will allow me to tweak the ride to more how I like it.

How much does h&r's really close the gap? I'm not really worried about the back. What are my options with out having an extreme drop?

HRs sometimes give the car that rear sag a little too. I know some people just install the fronts to get more of an even stance.

Yes, you'll be fine with H&R's.

GR-2's will be fine, but if you can swing the Illuminas based on your budget, get them. Don't forget about mounts and boots.

Where are you located?

haha yea man, that'd be me. i work in andrews now, so i'm always going through town headed home. i hear you on doing work...i got a whole lot more things to do to mine, primarily a different set of wheels. got wifey riding on my old ones on her car now.

if you already have teh H&R springs though, stick with them...but if you dont/about to sell them, i think progress offers a better drop. i had the illumina struts, they were nice. but i dont miss my old setup. like was said...GR-2s should do you good w/ the H&Rs

H&R drops for our cars are pretty subtle so you don't have to go too overboard buying the best struts. However if you really care about the ride quality then go for illuminas and you'll never have a problem.

I know that with the lowering springs its gone stiffen it up a bit, just don't want it to be to harsh.

I have the setup you are looking at H&R/GR-2 and it does not feel harsh trust me I have run with this setup for over a year now and it rides just fine.
