trunk open for no reason?

hehehe...

this is the 2nd time now. First time i thought i accidently hit the trunk release on the remote. anyways, this morning my roomate wakes me up at 7am and tells me someone broke into the 2k...i was hella mad, run out there with a weapon. The trunk was wide open, im like WTF!?!?! this is the 2nd time. I know i didnt accidently open the trunk cause i havent driven their car for awhile so i didnt touch the keys. anyone else experince this before?

OMG!!!!
I thought I was the only one. It's happened to me three times though and twice was at work. I would get in my car to leave, start to drive off then see the damn trunk open light. None of the times was it wide open though, just cracked enough for the light. Odd indeed.

I have actually knelt down to pick things up and "pressed" the button while the keys were in the front pocket of my jeans. This has happened a couple of times.

what really scares the bejebbers outta me sometimes is when i accidently press the red panic button and the whole car starts flashing and blaring horns like crazy. don't need coffee in the morning, just press the panic button!

So true...the other day we had went shopping and went out to the parking lot to put the stuff in the trunk. My husband mashed the panic instead of the trunk button. I thought the lady who happened to be walking by the car at the time was going have a heart attack on the spot. It was too funny!

yea we get some weird things happen at Firestone also. lady towed her car back twice cause she siad we screwed up her car. both times it was because she ran out of gas.

i only have 1 set of keys, this isnt my car so the 2nd set is with my parents. i usually know what im doing and dont make funky mistakes like that....
