Messed with a CL last night.
I was driving down 22 last night at about 11:45pm and i came up to a black 2001 acura cl. (non typeS) It was a kid driving with some dry cleaning in the car. My buddies went nuts and said "race him". So i revved him a couple of times and he followed me up to about 75. Next light my wish came true....RED. So i start reving, and reving, up to 6800, as high as i can, my greddy is screaming...he wouldn't even look at me!!!!! My friends are going nuts, so the light turns green and i started off a little quick, and he just poked along. I think he was afraid he was going to get his *** worked! Oh well, all those over-priced honda's fear us. I have a 01 se 5 speed with intake, y-pipe, jet chip and greddy cat-back. I want to race a type s so bad!!! Not a great story, but i wanted to let you guys know.

Uhhh, you are kinda late. I haven't flamed anyone and I already made peace. Re-read the post on Walking the CLS Hard, I don't have a NAV and yes I am Modded. Now for you, I will walk your 1999 GXE all the way back to dealership 'till you learn a your lesson and get a 6spd. Ok ok my fault! I will take that back I thought you was aiming at me. Nice kit of NOS. 125 dry kit will probally take some life off my tranny. Your times are good. ME? 14.2 1/4 with modds (going off on a member who has the same stuff) and I am guessing with Nitrous I should easily be in the low-mid thirteens.

Well i actually run a 100 shot jet on my dry kit but i run bottle pressure of 1200 or so and higher pressure means bigger shot but there is also more danger ya know. That is a good time. When i was on 50 shot w/ CAI, Y-pipe, & VB Mod, i was running consistent 14.4's in summer and consistent 14.3's in fall. I have dragged with 100 shot, at teh track, it was horrible. I never knew an auto could spin all 3 gears and get wheel hop. I find it harder to get a better time w/ more NOS. When i jumped from 50 to 60 shot, i got same times and same mph. 70 shot only chopped it down by another .1 so...
I liek dry kits b/c they are easy to tune but the only draw back is if you backfire, good bye motor. Wet systems you dont have to worry about that but they require a bit more work. Direct port everything has to be equal NOS & fuel in each cyl... pain in teh ****.
