Well the guy backed out of the deal for the progress springs and gr2 struts and instead only wants to sell the struts now so forget that I'm still saving up for those megan coilovers.

Anyway today I had some free time and its nice out so I decided to finally install my 3000k hids in the fogs since one of my bulbs is out anyway and I had these hids laying around in my garage so why not.

Here's a little day time vid of what they look like I'll take another one tonight. Peace

Its awesome man! The shifts are so crisp. It is pretty harsh in first to second it jerks the car but I don't mind it but your passengers will look at you funny

I'm working on "tieing" my drivetrain down to cut down on the harshness and to decrease losses. I've ordered a torque link so I'll be installing that next then hopefully I can get some stronger inserts for those weak mounts we have.

That was originally the plan but I tried black and ended up liking it even though I'm almost always against it. It'll be like this for now until I get bored.

Plus I didn't want to look like atxking27

Installed the fishtale produced torque link today. The difference can be felt. Acceleration is smoother and I don't have that passenger side clunk when going over bumps. Also the hard shifts from the transgo kit are more "dampened" if you will. It was definitely worth the money and a must have mod.

Having never had a torque link before I wasn't exactly sure what the ideal "setting" for it would be. I accidentally adjusted it where it pulled the engine down (actually pulled the mount towards the front) at first then realized this was wrong. I then adjusted it till the mount sat as vertical as possible and with a open ended wrench turned it another half a turn to a turn for a little extra firmness. I'm not sure if this is the correct way to adjust it but judging from the results I feel it is.

Hopefully someone with more exp with this type of mod can chime in if I'm totally off base.

I'll post pics tomorrow for those interested.

I might get some coilovers next summer or some new struts don't know yet usually our winters seize/blow/**** up coilovers so I'm thinking its not worth it and I rather get some Illuminas and stick with my S-techs since its the perfect height for me. Especially with this lip I'm not going any lower since I painted it I already scraped it 3 times

Thanks, and the torque link is a good mod. Not sure how long this one will last but it was only $40 and if it compromises I wouldn't mind spending the money on the nwp one.
