Question on putting 03 gle rims on my 2000 max

I want to get the gle rims but i recently got some new tires 215/55/16.
And I was wondering would those tires be able to go onto the 03 rims with no problem

You want to put 16" tires on 17" wheels? Is that what I understand here?

No, the 03 gle rims are 17's not 16's so your gonna need a set of tires as well

Thanks, sorry I dont know much about these tire numbers... so basically Im limited to only 16'' rims?

There is no way I can fit the 17s in?

if you wanna use those tires you have then yea your limited to 16" rims...if you want to put on those 03 gle rims you have to buy tires to fit...point blank period

You can't even use 16" tires on the 16.5" wheels used on many commercial vehicles, OP.

Theres no way you can fit the 16 inch tires on the 17 inch wheels. So yes you are limited to 16 inch rims
