Difference between European and American Maxima
Hi, I live in Europe and I was forced to order IACV and Throttle Position Sensor from US - I've got Maxima QX 2001 3.0 Japan, and in Europe such parts are extremely expensive.
Does anyone know where are the main differences between Maxima from US and Europe (apart from lights of course). Maybe there is a table with parts numbers, that fit and not.
This IACV in Europe (they order it somewhere from Holland) has number
237812y010 and in US it is 237812y012.
Nissan in US says it should be the same...
On my engine there is a sign Nissan MLV630-10
1.Could someone who owns a similar Maxima make a photo of engine?
2.Do you know some more about those parts numbers?

Also, as afar as the part goes, I believe the 010 PN has been discontinued, and the 012 is the new version of it, as it also sells here in the US (the 012) as the IACV.

mcmaklin, I've got the greatest resource for most of your questions. It will come in handy when comparing your vehicle to a state-side vehicle. Complete part numbers, alternative part #s, diagrams, and more. They even break it down to LH vs RH drive and North/Central/South Europe. Pretty cool, huh? I owe credit to an .org member's (I forgot who) sig for this link, but it's now bookmarked in my browser. Every member should do the same for reference. Good luck!

Also, the parts are interchangeable, it'll work.
