I have always been a no carpet kinda guy myself.

Kidding aside, you looking for the whole piece to cover from front to back. Try some local shops, custom can often be had at a decent price. They can have templates for each car

I've found this one but they don't list anything for the 02-03. I am not sure what the differences are betweein 00-01 and 02-03 are.

And the same thing there.

I am in need of molded carpet for the front of my car. I tore up the carpet pretty good. Thats what she said!

Is there any difference from the 2001 Maxima floor designs to the 2002 & 2003 models? If not, ACC Carpets offers their carpet mold for the 2001 Maxima:

Item #CategoryDescriptionPrice17100-01 CARPET 2001 NISSAN MAXIMA 4 DOOR CARPET$278.98

www.accmats.com

I used to be a dealer for them when we had our family upholstery business. Best carpet molds on the market; pricey, but better than most others out there!

You're looking for carpet mold? Or preformed molded carpet? Look in JCwhitney all day long:

So what's the difference between a 2000-2003 interior wise? Not a damn thing when speaking of carpet.....Use 2000 or 2001 p/n's should both be the same

Just be aware that, when you get that carpet in the mail, you're handed a massive, "molded" piece of material that is the same shape of the floor, with roughly the same variations in height for the heat ducts and whatnot.

You have to cut the carpet in a million different spots to get it to fit. If you do not feel that you have steady enough hands to Exact-o knife the bajeebus out of the carpet, I wouldn't suggest ordering one.

I bought a replacement carpet for my last car that got a bit (read: totally) flooded. In the end, I was able to dry out the carpeting and returned the new carpet I purchased; there was simply no way I would be able to get it looking as nice as the factory piece. The hardest part in the ordering process was figuring out the color code to order, as none of the websites used the same names that Ford had printed on the carpet itself and the part numbers on the carpet were equally useless.

Best of luck to you who choose to pursue this endeavor. =/

I don't see what is so hard about using old carpet to mark where holes need to be cut ? Then trim at the edges ?
Or you can take your interior out take your car to a upholstery shop. With the interior removed I can't see them charging you much . Reinstall your interior and enjoy your pimp new carpet!

I've been researching this as well for my 2000 max and came across one at nissanpartszone.com and is about $100 less than the dealer. I swung by the dealer today ($751!) and this is the part number for it: 74902-2Y918. You need to reference your VIN to make sure it's the exact replacement and color. Let me know if you find any better deals.
