OP so let me get this straight:

are those NEO bulds a direct plug and play ? or is saudering required?

No soldering required , i did solder mine though because the contacts where worn on my circuit board.

So if we wanted to do our dash lights in the 02 and up the Neo5s wouldnt work? I love how his is "White and not the gray white us 03 GLE owners have. Any way to make ours have a true white or if not possible at least a non ricey blue?
