Dash & AC Control LED'S Installed.

Got my leds all done finally, I got the leds from superbrightleds.com I got the neo 4 and neo5 leds., The light in the center bottom shining on the shifter is a CCFL tube. PICS.

I don't care how still ya hold the cam, it always blurs when you turn off the flash.

Ive been wanting to do this for some time, you just sold me on picking it up again. I bought the 3mm neo's for AC control by mistake while back and have been burnt out on trying it again. Just little nervous taking instrument cluster out.

basically yes, you have to disassemble the ac unit little bit but once you can access them they pop right in. while you have it out you can swap out the light that shines down on the shifter. its a t5 iirc, unless you wanna put something else in there.

i cant find a t5 bulb on the site, link?

So all I need is 3 little bulbs for the whole ac climate control, it looks like it would need a more bulbs for each of the buttons no?

they must not carry them, you can find them on ebay. t5's can also be used for the key ring illumination. yeah there is only three, i figured there would be more as well. thats why hotspotting sometimes occurs, and some buttons are brighter than others.

Please tell me that your high beams are on and that you aren't running HIDs in halogen housings.

Please!

OK to ease the confusion
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...pecs%2FNEO.htm
Go there, Click See Prices and Buy, Select Neo4 If your doing the ac stuff, Select Neo5 if your doing the cluster, Pick your color, the type and how many.
The one's with the 120Degree beam pattern help eliminate hot spots.

The camera needs to be stabilized, i.e. on a tripod or a surface, to get a clear picture. It cannot move at all for it to come out clearly. Preferably, use a remote or set it on a timer.

Despite your blurry pics, though, it looks pretty good.

Yes and so are the center ones, There is a blue coating on the back of the gauge faces that make them blue, I ruined my cluster pulling off the needles to get the faces off, i had to get a new one at a junk yard and swap mem chips to preserve my mileage, its a royal pain

Ok i got rid of the Blue color on the cluster, I had to remove the gauge faces and remove the blue coating on the back, I tried this in the past and messed up the needles bad, so this time i took them out, removed the 2 screws on the front of the gauge face and spun it around to remove the coating, iam alot happier with the outcome.

Yeah, I was just going to point out the same thing. Us '02+ guys do not have this option as the design/bulbs are totally different. Unfortunately nothing exists to get us even close to that as far as "drop-in" goes
