Ok guys we will be updating the thread with the shipping info later tonight. We just ordered the boxes today and that will allow us to get the proper shipping quotes.

Thanks!

Ok guys! We are ready to start taking deposits on the lips. We are going to be offering two shipping options. One will be fedex and will be around $125 coast to coast, and the deposits will be received via paypal. The other shipping option will be via greyhound, direct delivery will not be an option, customers will have to pickup their items at their nearest greyhound bus terminal. The cost for this service will be around $70. We will only be offering greyhound shipping service for payments sent via Postal Money Order, since the items will not be delivered directly to your address and we would have no charge back protection.

So please PM us telling us how you would like to make your deposit, be it paypal or Money order and we will reply back with the corresponding order information.

Thanks!

Well I am in Ontario Canada and Stillen quoted me 160.00 for shipping plus I would get hit with a brokerage fee of another 30.00 so his shipping cost really is very good ... besides if you guys read the original post on this offer the estimated shipping cost is clearly stated ... So whats with the complaining, sorry but I don't get it

This is a quality product and at a very good introductory cost

Just to clear things up, we are charging the actual shipping. Stillen BENDS their urethane lips in order to pack them in smaller boxes and offer free shipping. We can't do that with this type of materials. Also keep in mind that they probably ship out more products in one day than what we ship out in a month, so they are able to negotiate better pricing.

We are offering two shipping options in order to accommodate all budgets. If people want to save then they will have to choose the less convenient option.

If anyone can get a better price on shipping then please be my guest, here are the dimensions: 73" x 24" x 7", origin zip code 91911.

Thanks!

If you pay via money order it will be $250. I don't see what the problem is?

Then order it from Stillen then.

This is why no other companies are interested in making parts for the maxima, I'm even offering cheap shipping alternative for people who are on a budget, and people ignore that. Shipping estimates were clearly stated on the initial post. I have also posted the dimensions of the box so people can see what the actual cost is and to see if someone could come up with a cheaper alternative.

Shipping is EXPENSIVE, shipping companies don't just charge by the weight, they also charge by the dimensions of the box, and this lip is huge.

We will continue to receive deposits until the end of next week. If the minimum numbers aren't reached the project will be cancelled and deposits will be refunded.

I will be unable to respond to any messages until Sunday night.

Thanks!

im not gonna dump on this thread on what im goin to do and still have a max tuning lip.. but one thing i most deff dont worry bout is spending money on a lip ive had 3 maxtuning lips @ 350 a piece but they were polyurathaine for whateva reason being my own i went through 3 of them... so imagine what will happen if i get fiber glass...

but i deff hope u guys get enough deposits cause those lips are the best ones looks wise... just a bit too pricey for me being that its fiberglass

The project has been cancelled. Out of the 5 deposits received only 4 were good, one was an eCheck that bounced. All deposits have been refunded.

We received deposits from these forum members: wavetwister, 5th gen junkie and nismomaxct. I received two other deposits from non forum members that contacted me via email, one of those deposits bounced.

I tried to give this project as much as a possibility as I could. Even after making numerous posts and asking for a status update of the pending deposits only two forum members replied, the rest clearly ignored us, no PMs, no emails, no posts, just plain nothing.

We are moving on with other projects, we are sorry for those forum members that held up their part of the bargain and had this project ruined by the flakers that blamed it on the shipping costs, when that info was posted up clearly in the first post.
